Billing & Insurance

Nick Ressler - Business Manager

Nick supports clients in understanding their insurance benefits and practice billing processes. He is also the first person with whom you will make contact at our office. Please feel free to reach out to him for questions or support with billing or paperwork.

Insurance Coverage

If you want to use your health insurance for services, please be aware that all of our clinicians are in-network with:

  • BCBS of Iowa

  • Midlands Choice

Only some of our clinicians are in-network with:

  • United Behavioral Health

  • Medicare

  • Aetna

If you are not using insurance, we will provide you with payment receipts that have the necessary information for you to file for out-of-network reimbursement.

While we make every effort to provide clear information about your health insurance coverage at the beginning of therapy, we encourage you to check your benefits before you start treatment.

No Surprises Act Information

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your healthcare services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Client Portal

The client portal can be used to look up your upcoming appointments; connect to your Telehealth sessions; make payments; request records; and much more.

If you are a new client, you will receive an email with an invitation to create an account.

Our clinic is not structured to serve as an emergency service, but we want you to have quick access to places where you can seek support if you were to need it.

Please note that the sites listed below are here for quick reference. We are not affiliated with any of them and cannot guarantee the quality or effectiveness of services offered at any of these facilities or organizations.
